Basic Photography Tutorials

_{I am not a pro photographer. And I know that here on dA are other amateur photographers even more advanced and talented than me. But I really hope the beginners will find this tutorials useful. ^^

deviantART is a place for artists. If you want a site where you can upload tons of family pictures and snapshots, this is most likely not the place for you. Try MySpace or Hi5 instead. (:

Here on dA, photography is an art. Presentation is very important. Also, quality prevails over quantity.

COMPOSITION
A good composition makes a photograph more aesthetically pleasing and professional looking. Don't center your subjects, try the rules of thirds instead.
Also, a messy composition is not aesthetically at all.

EXPOSURE
If you are still a beginner and don't know yet how to work with your camera very well, the best way to take photos is during the day light. Set your camera's ISO to 100 and don't use flash. The higher the ISO, the higher the 'noise' in the photo.

PRESENTATION
It's important to edit and enchance your photos. If you don't have Photoshop, download PhotoFiltre. It's easy to use and it's free!

Cropping and framing is important too. A black or white frame looks very stylish and professional.

Welcome to ~ChildPhotography club!

^{First thing first, this is a CLUB, we are just displaying our member's works, so DO NOT here!! The links to the originals are always placed in each deviation's artist's comments, so go and fav the originals, thank you.}

This is a club where children photographers can expose their art. We accept photography of children and everything related to them: toys, clothes, school etc. Just keep it very artsy and very tasty.

We need a subscription. If anyone is willing to donate we will be forever grateful.

Hey everyone!! Thanks to all of the new members and welcome. You guys are making this group a success. I recently adopted the group which had been scheduled for a revamp (by me), and I fell in love with it instantly. To start fresh we sorted folders, added features and are now cleaning up old blog submissions!!

Delays Delays.. Finally!!

Alright everyone. Sorry so much for the long awaited feature being postponed so far..

(12 days!!)

Finally our feature is up. Show some support to your fellow members and "Love" the feature so more people will see it.

Congrats to everyone that was featured!!

Everyone has such beautiful submissions it was hard to choose what should be featured and what didn't get up this time around.. (So I had someone else pick!!)

Keep submitting those beautiful pictures before the kids grow up and aren't so 'cute' anymore.
